Kid Zone Activities

• Special activities for your children will be available while you attend the Soup and Salad Silent Auction at the Church Fellowship Center on November 14th.
  
  
• Advent begins at the end of No0vember and each week Kidzone will do a short presentation on Advent when we come into church.  Each child will play a special role in our presentations.
  
  
• Our Parent’s Night Out Kid Zone Party in December will be for 3 hours to give parents a little more time during our busy month.  We will have a “Come to Bethlehem Party.” Please check back for more details.
  
  
• Each Wednesday night Kidzone offers games, Bible study and activities during the Adult Bible study.  We are talking about missions and outreach centering around Rwanda, Papua New Guinea and USA.  We will be working in shoe boxes for Samaritan Purse and gifts for our homebound members.

Kid Zone is the Children’s Ministry of Christ Church Anglican where children start building a Christian foundation for life.

Kid Zone is offered during the Sunday morning service at the Bishop Snyder Catholic High School (follow the signs) for the 8:45 am , 10:15 am services. The Kids Zone is for babies through 8th grade.

With the help of committed volunteers, Kid Zone provides a fun and safe environment where children discover their spiritual gifts and talents.

In Kid Zone, we believe that learning should be fun, so we learn through drama, songs and activities.  This results in bible lessons that are age appropriate, interactive and relevant to today’s children.  You and your children are invited to visit Kid Zone during any weekend service and experience our commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation for children.  

The First Step:

Our volunteers will get all the necessary information and direct you to your child’s room. Your child will be greeted, given a name badge and you can have your specific questions answered. 

Kid Zone offers large group time where we sing songs and play games. We divide into age appropriate small groups where we have interactive bible lessons and crafts. Our goal is to help Children connect to the teaching of God’s Word by involving each child in weekly worship.  We want to help equip them for the act of worship and ministry in the body of Christ.  We hope to lead each child in worship whereby they meet God on a personal level as they praise Him for being a holy, loving and caring God.

Ages 3 and up will join you in the church for communion. If you would like for your infant or toddler (ages 1 and 2) to join you for a family communion, you may pick them up at their class at the noted time in your bulletin.  Your toddler age child may like to proceed to church with the other children.  Just let their teacher know if you want them to attend with the older children and an adult will bring them to you. Our lesson plans are available upon request.

Volunteer Opportunities:

We would love to have you join our team of Kid Zone volunteers.  Most volunteers who serve in Kid Zone started with little or no experience.

We have volunteer opportunities available on Sundays and during the week.  We have opportunities from Babies through 8th grade.  We have roles that are connected to children and some that have more of an adult connection.
