This is for Mothers of School Aged Kids. It's called "MOMS Next", and is affiliated with
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) International, a powerful Christian group that offers an amazing experience to moms in and out of church. Christ Church has the very first MOMS Next program in Jacksonville as this is the inaugural year for the program for moms of school aged kids.
MOMSnext is a new program that is designed to create community for moms who have school age children and are facing the many challenges and issues that come with this parenting season.
MOMSnext meets on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 5pm to 7pm at the Christ Church fellowship office. We have fun, eat, chat, learn things we can use as parents and share with one another.
A covered dish family dinner will be at 5pm and Moms will then go to MOMSnext, while Dads who come can take their kids to Kidzone for planned activities together.
Childcare is available for single parents and families whose Dads work during the meeting time.
MOMSnext is a Christian program to support and encourage Mothers of School-age kids. To become a member you must have a child in Kindergarten or above. We will feature interesting, relevant speakers, as well as a curriculum, entitled Raising Great Kids.
